Nikkiti Scott joined the Goodnight Babies team in December 2013.  She has been a great asset from day one.  She shows professionalism, team participation and she has a great personality.  Upon hiring Nikkiti she only had experience babysitting relatives and friends children.  It was not long before I realized she had a natural ability for a nanny position.  She provides daily activities potty trains and much love.  She currently helps with billing clients and keeping track of hours for the GNB team.  Wherever she is involved you can count on 100%!

She came into our lives during the very stressful post partum period after a particularly difficult birth and was an immense help. She is always prompt and professional. Nikki knows everything about babies, toddlers and beyond and knows how to explain these things simply to an overwhelmed new mom. She is particularly talented at techniques aimed at getting your baby on the correct day/night schedule. She was such a massive help to us during this time and it made me sad when I had healed and it was time for us to take some of these responsibilities on ourselves. My husband’s sister referred Nikki to us after having Nikki as their night nurse for their 3 children. My sister in law said that Nikki was a huge Godsend and she was right! From the moment Nikki walked in, we knew our baby was in good hands. Nikki brings confidence, positivity, humor and warmth with her every night. She always arrived on time and with a smile. Nikki is very practical and resourceful; she has a wide-breadth of knowledge when it comes to infant and postpartum care. She's also funny and nice, which is a game changer at 3am! Nikki was very supportive of me and coached me during breastfeeding. She also devised a schedule for my newborn and my two-year-old. She is very skilled at getting the babies on a schedule. Being first-time parents was extremely nerve-racking.  Between the two of us, we had 0 experience with babies and we knew we needed help when we brought our new little one home. Some friends of ours highly recommended Nikkiti and after one meeting we immediately hired her as our night nurse.  It was the BEST decision we could have possibly made.  She was a blessing to our family in so many ways! 

To start, she was impeccably prompt every evening and walked in with a huge smile on her face.  After a long day and little rest, she was a sight for sore eyes!  She was extremely gracious and would jump right in and assess what we needed.  Even if we didn't know what we needed at the time!  Typically we would spend at least 1-2 hours with her asking questions and learning basic baby caring techniques.  She was professional, patient and encouraging as we were learning the ropes.  

Most importantly, she provided me with the confidence I needed to rejoin the real world.  At times I would feel chained to my house and extremely overwhelmed by the demands of feedings, pumping, nap time schedule, etc that the parenting books recommend.  While those things are very important, feeling like yourself and getting out into the world with your new little one is critical.  Nikkiti gave us advice on setting our own schedules that work for the baby and us.  She made sure that we carved out time for our marriage and our hobbies.  She taught us how to work together as a team and that type of support is invaluable.  We will forever be grateful to Nikkiti for so many things and cannot imagine our lives without her!

To Whom It May Concern, My name is Jen Ogilvie and it is truly my pleasure to offer my recommendation of Lara Crowe who I have known for 2 years in the capacity of a night and day nurse.  After having my first son Linden, Lara helped us work through those first few difficult months that every new parent experiences. Having no family close by, she was available to me not only during her time at my house but also if I needed advice outside of her working hours. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to working with babies and toddlers. Furthermore, during my relationship with Lara, I experienced an individual who shows up on-time (even early on those challenging days!), works hard, and carries herself in a polite, respectable manner. Lara is a family-person who has always presented herself with levelheadedness and grace. She is hard working and consistently goes above and beyond without being asked, for example she beautifully organized the nursery when she saw it needed to be done (asking first, of course). She loves to learn and does so very quickly, for instance taking initiative to learn and practice our son's Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy exercises with him. My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Nikki and her team with two of our newborn baby boys. We worked primarily with Nikki with our now toddler,  almost 3.5 years ago. She was wonderful in teaching us the tips and tricks from feeding, bathing, sleep training and more for first time parents! She did laundry, bottle washing and organizing nursery drawers. She also answered our numerous questions during the daytime as well. Always on time and responsive. She was organized in billing and we always could count on her. 

We used Lara for our second son most recently. She as a joy to have in our home and always made us feel prepared as second-time parents with wild toddler at home. She always sat with us in the evenings to listen to our daytime schedule and we worked on sleep training pretty early because our son with getting pretty big quickly. Lara was consistently in touch with Nikki about our baby. We felt confident with Lara and our baby loved her! She even made us special breakfast for our toddler’s last day of school treat! Always checking in and facetiming if she was off on the weekends!

Thanks to Nikki, Lara and Team we have some great sleepers!

Here is my recommendation letter for Kate --

Our family hired Kate when Davis was 2 weeks old and used her until he was 3 months. Davis started at a 3 hour feeding schedule (newborn). Once he hit 8 pounds, she started sleep training him -- he now sleeps from 7:30 pm -6:30 am at 3 months! 

When Kate started, she listened to what was important to us and got a sense for our regular lifestyle. She then explained how she goes about sleep training. She makes sure to keep things as easy as possible for me to take over on the nights she isn't there -- for example, she doesn't hold him all night to soothe, she doesn't play pacifier pong all night to soothe, she uses other techniques so I can take over and not spend the whole night awake in his room. She would set goals for me to stick to each week for the nights she wasn't there -- for example, Davis would sleep to maybe around 3:30-4 one week. She would give me a goal of 3:30 so I couldn't feed him before that. This ensured we continued to make progress each week BUT they were realistic goals to set me up for success.

Lastly, from an admin side, she is very punctual, communicative and a planner. She was always on time for her nights. When she left in the mornings, I would get a text summary of how Davis' night went -- if he cried out, what time he ate, how she soothed him so I could learn etc. She would always let me know if there was a scheduling conflict for personal matters on her end -- they were planned ahead of time if possible, and she was flexible/willing to work other nights if she wasn't able to work her regular night.

We loved Kate and appreciate her time and care for Davis.

Abrieana watched our 1 month old boy several nights during the week. She was very professional, always on time and a pleasure to work with.
